Stainless Steel 304 (UNS S30400 / AISI 304 / EN 1.4301)

Slip-On Raised Face (SORF)

• Design:

  • Bore slightly larger than the pipe's outer diameter

  • Pipe slips into the flange and is welded both on the inside and outside (fillet welds)

  • Raised Face (RF): Provides a larger sealing surface; compatible with flat ring gaskets

Class 150 (CL-150#)

• Defined by ANSI/ASME B16.5

• Designed for a max pressure of:

  • ~285 psi at 100°F (for SS 304)

  • Pressure rating decreases as temperature increases

• Suitable for low-pressure piping systems
